Quick tip #1 -- Tamper proof rings/ tamper evident rings

We shall introduce a series of quick tips that help promote betterment of our planet. A 'label section' will soon be set up to that you can browe for the quick tips easier. Now moving on..

Tamper proof rings/ tamper evident rings is the plastic ring left around the neck of the bottle (after you open the cap). It is used as a 'safety seal' for the bottle cap, and are only left apart when you have opened the bottle.

Useful it may seem, but it also threatens the life of our marine friends. These tamper proof rings, after being thrown into the dustbin, may land up at the beach, and endanger the marine animals there. For instance, a baby turtle might crawl into it, unable to get out, and when it grows bigger, its body will grow distorted. So, you can do your part.

Try cutting the rings with a pair ot scissors, such that even if a turtle crawls into it, it does not require much energy and effort to escape out of it. Thank you for your attention! Let us all work together to increase sustainability in our beautiful planet.
