Nature's foods

Interesting facts about some veggies and their nutrition:

Carrots: when you cut them into halves or slices, it appears to be the shape of an eye; and is good for the eye :)

Walnut: the outer of the walnut has lots of 'wrinkles' and resembles the brain, and has certain nutrients good for the brain

Celery: the white, strong and brittle stem looks a lot like the human bone, it has 21% calcium, like the human bone (also 21% calcium), and is good for the development of our bones

Kidney beans: looks like a kidney and has the word kidney in it's name, good for kidneys

Avocado: when half of the outer shell is taken off, with the huge seed left, it looks like a pregnant woman. avocadoes help to develop the fetus and many more. this plant takes 9 months to bear fruit, like the fetus

Tomato: cut it into halves and you get a heart shape, with 4 chambers :) has been found to have nutrients good for the heart too.

Nature is giving us hints about the food and their benefits from the whole range of veggies :) & these are just a few,

Vegetarian starter kit

Want to be veg? Need help?

http://www.remembergod.org/pdf/veg297.pdf

Here is the link to an online vegetarian starter kit, specially made to help those who want to turn to the compassionate diet, and need some assisstance.

There are lots of good info here. Scroll down the pages, and you'll see congratulation messages from vegans around the world, animals put in cages (the animal cruelty side), and many more.

There's also a few pages of vegan recipes (you can try them out, they're delicious :)) there's also a story about a cow and how she was treated in the farm, before she was slaughtered. You might consider reading it, and think about whether raising animals for food is a humane practice (human's should be humane, no?). a great help to those starting the transiction to a veg diet, please help spread the word, that a vegan diet is all we need to save the planet :D

Please help pass this on to anyone you know who needs it too :) Thanks.

Do not take the risk!

It was recently found out that meat in supermarkets had violated the safety rules. Packaged meat were routinely repackaged and stamped with new inaccurate freshness date, some meats with labels like 'brown lamb' actually also have other meats added like pork. Also, it was found that the fat level in the meat was way more than written on the label.

Also, there has been more and more cases of getting ill after being injected with the swine flu vaccine. There has also been deaths from taking the vaccine, when it's supposed to 'help' us. Reason being, what the vaccine is, is just a weakened form of the virus. So the people making the vaccine just break those very strong genes, 'trample' on it a little and inject it into the body. And because there's supposed to be two jabs (without adjuvants, like for the bird flu), but because there isn't time to test, and no time to make enough vaccines, the swine flu vaccine has added adjuvants to make it necessary to take only 1 jab. But these adjuvants are poisonous substances, like mercury, and some are even more poisonous than mercury, and all these are just to 'wake the body up'. Because the number of jabs are minimized, the adjuvants have to be added, but this is actually harming the body, that's why there is a high risk when taking the vaccine. (note that the vaccine includes egg, kidney from monkeys etc, and a lot of non-veg stuff)

But we can avoid taking the vaccine, simply by adopting a vegan diet. Because if swine flu originates from the extremely filthy conditions from the meat producting farms, then to avoid it, we don't eat that filthy rotting corpse (yes, because the manure from the animal is not cleaned, and it remains on the meat during processing). So the solution is so simple: just be vegan, and all will be taken care of ;)

Creating a vegan society...

the IPCC scientist, Kirk Smith, said that if our society had zero carbon emissions, the planet will still warm, becaue methane traps heat 72 times more than CO2.

however, methane remains in the air for a shorter time as compared to carbon dioxzide, so he suggested that if we would like to make a difference in the climate change, we should start with methane (got to look after both short term and long term emissions, but since methane traps heat way much more than CO2, we have to work on methan first)

& methane's number one source? --> livestock. so stop livestock today :) and the planet will cool faster

You can't really be considered a true environmentalist if you eat meat, and contribute to global warming. and it's in a way true.

Many scientists are already advocating a meat-free diet, the chair of the IPCC, Dr. R K Pachauri, Dr. James Hansen and so many more.

The human body: made for a vegan diet

the following articles write that our human body was meant to consume a plant-based diet only. Some points include that our teeth (though some look sharp and pointy, but it's mentioned in the article that it's still not like canine teeth) were meant to chew vegetables, and our intestines are long. Long intestines are made long specially to absorb the many nutrients of the veggies, therefore it's long. Herbivores all have long intestines (like us humans), whereas carnivorous animals have very short intestines. Therefore, we can see that our human body is made to live on a diet free of animal products. more details can be found from the links.

look at this site with all the info about our human body, very detialed:
http://www.nealhendrickson.com/mcdougall/030700pumeatinthehumandiet.htm

other sites:
http://www.rawfoodexplained.com/why-we-should-not-eat-meat/the-best-fuel-for-the-human-body.html

http://herbsupplement.cn/do-not-eat-meat-a-long-time-age-immunodeficiency/

and these were just googled. if you want to find the real truth, why don't just google it first? 'cause many scientists are saying the same thing; meat only harms.

there was this scientists who remarked that he didn't know why humans had to add meat to their diet because it doesn't bring any benefit at all

What's more than emissions from transportations

A recent report by the World Watch Institute states that 51% of the greenhouse gases in the air is from animal agriculture. This percentage has risen from the first super low estimate of 18% (note that 15% of greenhouse gases are frm transportation). and it isn't stopping here. It's increasing to 60++.

& also, if you watched the Larry King Live, the representatives from the meat industry dare not show the report of the cleanliness checks on the farm and the animals. said that it was the company's private info. But if we would like to check, it should be shown, unless it's unacceptable then it won't be shown. So you know how bad the conditions are. don't take the risk.

This is the link to the article on Lord Stern: look at this: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environment/article6891362.ece

Google "Stern climate change meat" and a lot of articles on this. he's a UK scientist

beware of the hamburger!

a piece of meat may look 'clean' and 'innocent' but it actually isn't. Truth is that it is infested with lots and lots of unimaginable bacteria that bring diseases.

first, there is e coli. this bacteria is found only in animals, especially at the intestine area and beef and other meat products, this e coli has no cure and there was a woman who had recently consumed a hamburger, got into a coma and woke up paralysed. that's shocking. and the origin is clearly from animals. if any e coli bacteria happens to be found on any veg, it's because of the animal manure used to fertilise it. and ecoli is so tiny that 1000 of it can be found at the tip of the needle. and only 5 - 10 of this bacteria is needed to enter your body and to kill a child. that's one risk that can be avoided with a vegan diet :)

then there is MRSA or Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. similar to ebola, it's a flesh eating bacteria. & yes, it doesn't only create a blueblack but it actually eats your skin up. it's incurable. and there's about half of 1% of the meat eaters who have this disease, but don't belittle this number. SupremeMasterTV has interviewed one of the victims, and it's really scary. imagine your skin being eaten up. luckily this is only found animals, so eating vegan would prevent this diseases.

and AIDS is (I guess) also from meat. just goggle it up and lots of info can be found. all point to meat. so if we would like to live safe, please refrain from this harmful substance that only harms your body. the diseases mentioned have no cure and it's really scary, you shouldn't risk it k. so just switch. a simple piece of meat can be replaced with a piece of vegetarian meat, that uses less water, energy and many more, and has less diseases! it's a win-win situation. :D
